Fog and Fern Handcrafted Soap is part of the South Carolina Collection. The South Carolina Collection was created to represent the scents and geography throughout South Carolina. These handmade soaps are proudly created in small batches in the Midlands of South Carolina. I have selected some fragrances I like that will showcase aspects of South Carolina and this Fog n Fern Handcrafted Soap is one of them. The Blue Ridge Mountain Province stretches across northwestern South Carolina. Its forested peaks include the state’s highest point, Sassafras Mountain. The Piedmont Province stretches southeastward from the mountains to the midlands of the state, covering about a third of the state. Its hills rise higher toward the west. South Carolina has 12.9 million acres of forestland which is roughly 67 percent of the state’s total land area.
This soap replicates the meditative atmosphere of cloud-covered woodlands cleansed by rain. The fragrance opens with a fresh breath of ozone and bright bergamot, leading into a soothing aromatic heart of lavender and mint. At the base rests green moss, mineral-rich earth, and a touch of juniper.
Designs and colors are unique, and may vary in each bar due to their handmade nature.
Each bar weighs approximately 4.2 ounces and is a blend of olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, castor oil, sodium hydroxide, distilled water, sodium lactate, fragrance oil and colorant.

PLEASE NOTE: Handmade soap will last a long time if kept dry between uses. To extend the life of your soap, use a draining soap dish and keep it away from direct streams of water.
